New time

The Chinese English Language Exchange Group is here for you to relax and practice your beginner Chinese over a glass of alcohol and make new friends. It is informal, friendly and all about learning more about Chinese culture and customs.

Being in a crowded pub means you may have trouble finding the group as we don’t advertise ourselves and the regularly changing girls behind the bar don’t know us. If you want to find us, send a text to James on 0414 229 669 and he’ll guide you to the group. Usually 4-6 people having a chat.

Since starting the group in January and testing various times it’s been decided that the best time to start is actually 8pm. You’re welcome to meet earlier of course but that is the time most people start turning up.

So:

Time: 8pm til late

Location: Criterion Hotel ground floor level, cnr Park St and Pitt Street a short walk from Town Hall station

Cost: What you spend on drinks

We look forward to seeing you there.
